About me

Hello, I’m Brandon but my grandma calls me “Booba”. I’m a software engineer and creative technologist (amongst a slew of other shit), and I grew up in a small country town.

Music, especially Memphis rap, has always been a huge part of my life. For a while, I worked as a software engineer at one of the largest online mixtape platforms in history, and I thought that was my dream job—where music and technology blended perfectly. But when I lost that job, I fell into a dark place, and for a while, I gave up. What pulled me through was music, and also Mortal Kombat.

Since I was a kid, Mortal Kombat gave me an escape and a strength I needed during hard times. Alongside music, it kept me grounded and kept me fighting. At the same time, I’ve always been deeply into hair culture—taking care of my hair, my self-care, and my mental health, especially as a Black man. Hence, the birth of EveryWaver.

These practices became part of my healing. On DigitalPimp.com, I share my personal journey—it’s a blog where I talk about life experiences, my growth as a creator, and the ups and downs of this path. I offer tips for other creators, dive into internet culture, talk about technology, and I’m always open about mental health. DigitalPimp.com is a space where I bring together everything I love—music, tech, self-care, and my Black experience—and it’s where I keep creating, keep healing, and keep telling my truth.
